FIOS Mobile App for Kindle Fire volume problem

I have installed this app on my Kndle Fire HD. When I play a live show on some of the channels (502 is one), the volume is very low, even at the highest setting. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a known solution?

I also have an Android tablet which had the same problem. There was a file in the root that could be edited to raise the digital volume output setting, but this file does not appear to exist in the Kindle Fire, and even if it did, it would require a level of authorization that cannot be granted in the Kindle O/S (Root Explorer).

Same here, however we were able to find a voice amplifying app for free at the Amazon store, and it worked quite well.

The name of the app is Volume +, and it appears to resolve the issue.
