FIOS Quantum Gateway and Actiontec WCB3000N Wireless Network Extender

I purchased the Quantum Gateway router as I was told that it would provide better coverage in my home but have been disappointed so far.  As a result, I purchased the Actiontec WCB3000N Wireless Extender.  When I connect the exytender, it works great for about an hour, then I lose WIFI throughout the entire house.  When I unplug the extender, I get wireless back.  It seems that the extender is causing some kind of intereference, but not immediately.

Any suggestions, very frustrated!

I'm curious whether you ever resolved this problem with your WCB3000N range extender?  I just got one, and it's doing the same thing you described- wireless will work great for about 45 minutes or so (much better than with the original FiOS router), but then the connections all drop.
