Hello - I've recently upgraded my FIOS internet from 10/2 to 15/5. While the speed has certainly improved as advertised, the reliability has dropped. I lose about connectivity, on my wired connection to the internet directly from the FIOS router, and not my home wireless setup, every few minutes.
It is extremely frustrating, and it is certainly not why I upgraded. I've tried calling customer service, but the support menus through the phone system is just inane.

If you are having an issue with your Verizon service, you can use the Verizon Troubleshooter to fix and report issues with your Verizon Phone, FiOS TV, or Internet Service. You can also schedule a repair. Here is the link: http://www.verizon.com/repair

Try rebooting the ONT. Unplug the ONT from the AC Wall Outlet, and then open up the Battery Backup Unit and disconnect the Battery. Let the ONT sit for ~30 seconds to ensure all power has left the unit, and then connect everything in reverse order (Battery first, then AC Power).
See if the drops still occur.
