My modem, affixed to the wall, issues a high pitched squaling sound during late night (12:00 PM to $:00 AM). Detaching the router makes no difference. The noise makes sleepn in that room impossible.
What is the model number of the device making the squeeling? Is it a Westell 9100EM? Just want to see if what you have is a VDSL modem or if it is another device, such as a part of the ONT.
