I still dont know what to do about the issue either. I ended up with Verizon business and now I have TWO accounts while I try to get out of the residential contract.

Same here. Speed dropped to ~6Mbps after 9pm in Gaithersburg, MD. Chatted with online support for an hour and their conclusion is defective router at my home even though I've told them the slow down only happen at night. They did try to reboot the router at Version's side and I can see my internet connection got dropped and restored. They will send me a new router, will see if it really help.

It's good that they're giving you a free upgrade to the latest router, Lawkee, but it really has nothing to do with your own personal router. This issue is affecting a whole bunch of FiOS subscribers.

Well no - actually initially one of the techs tried to blame the issue on my modem/router - that was when I got really livid as they told me that they were going to send me a new gateway device. Even though there was nothing wrong with my device and it is/was brand new.

I am done with this insanity. The best thing I can offer Verizon affected users is that I am annoying if need be so, this morning, I either can call all of VZ 's national operations indivduials directly on their cell phones using a server, OR issue an an email blasted alert- or both - and that said they will be like who are you and how did you get my number most likely but I figure that Verizon knows nothing at this point.

Awesome, another provider that is caught up in this besides Liquid Web is Rackspace - any sites hosted there are being totally affected by this problem on the side of VZ's newtork. Too bad I cant reload my prepaid card at accountnow.

actually looking at this trace it seems unclear if the rackspace router is to blame or the Verizon it seems not to be able to broker somewhere there though. Interesting.

I am still experiencing this problem and its not getting better.
I cant connect to apple servers and my internet connection is now intermittent...going up and down every couple hours....
FIOS, will you please help us resolve this.
I am already thinking of switching to ComCast and your lack of support on this will only push me to switch to ComCast.
