FiOS router getting gigabit, wired devices are not

Ran the verizon speed test and the router is getting the data, any hard connections are not. Devices connected via Wi-Fi get around 300Mbps which is expected for a wireless device, but wired connections are getting 90Mbps.

All devices have updated network drivers and the cables are rated for gigabit as the are Cat5e.

Not sure what to test but it's obviously internal and Verizon wont have techs to help.

Sounds like your wired network is operating at 100Mbps.  Depending on the devices involved, you can check if they have detected a 1Gbps or 100Mbps link from lights or device status.  You can check port speeds on the Verizon G1100 by visiting the advanced->port configuration menu.

If you confirm that the links are operating at 100Mbps, you most likely have a bad cable, bad connector, or bad network device (switch) somewhere between the router and the end device.

Good Luck.

Are you treating wired devices to speedtest.Verizon.net?

That stays within Verizon network.
