I have been trying to connect to a server to upload files for a website the past couple of days with no success. I have Fios 50/50 internet and the Quantum Gateway router. Any help is greatly appreciated I am completely lost. The only thing I can think of is the router is somehow blocking this.
Things I have tried.
Turned my Macbook Pro Firewall off
Port Forwarding FTP (Any->21)
Port Forwarding (50000->52000)
Router FIrewall Low
This is what I get when I run the configuration wizard on FileZilla

Why do you have the 2 entries in the firewall?
That is for inbound traffic only I.E. you would be running a filezilla server on your home network and allowing access to it from external clients.
What version filezilla client are you using?
I configure entries under site manager
Host is url or ip address of server
port is listening port on server
encryption use explicit ftp over tls if available
User id and password
Server type default (autdetect)
Works with no problems
What is the port range 50000 - 52000 about? Seem to recall that as something in the ancient past in the stndard ftp client but nothing to do with filezilla that I can see
