If it is overhead, they may not be willing or there may be a substantial charge.

Read the above. I would call 1-800-VERIZON and ask for the buried cable service department.
Verizon automatic responses do not cover burying cables - not online and not by telephone. I went to the store and they gave me a number to call that was internal only. When I called it I was automatically switched to standard menu that does not cover burying cables. It is Catch-22.
