I currently have a netgear extender. I want to set up permissions on my Verizon router to basically turn off my children's internet at a certain time. I can do this on every computer except the one that is connected to the netgear extender. I've logged into the myfiosgateway and am unable to see the netgear extender or the computer that currently is connected to it. Would i need to buy a Verizon extender?
Is that PC on the same subnet as the others?
Is the extender a wireless extender?
Are you doing filtering by MAC address or IP?
If it is by MAC, then fios router may not be able to see MAC of PC when it is connected to extender.
