Fios Internet router and billing question

So I had a problem with my internet and they said they would send me a new router that I could put in.

I said I wanted someone to come by and the router was fine, the equiptment was bad and they replaced it.

They then billed me and I called them.

Customer service wouldn't put a supervisor on.

We had Time Warner and we threw them out. They lost a million customers and keep coming around.

I will drop Verizon and get Dish TV.

You pay $160 a month and they don't care.

Poor business management.

What makes them bad? You pay for a service call to have someone come out and replace equipment.
That is why the offered to ship you the router for you to replace.

Typically they tell you that there will be a charge if they send a tech.

Pretty sure that Directv would do the same if they sent out a tech to replace your hardware.

+1.

DirecTV and Dish have both charged my family to have the satellite dish repaired after a storm misaligns or dents the dish. The same goes with replacing the receivers unless you're doing a service upgrade.

Sounds like business as usual. Unless perhaps, the ONT was bad?
