Thinking of getting the Fios Quantum Gateway (model #Fios-G1100)router.
Questions:
Can you assign speeds to the guest wifi and the other band or are the bandwidth division speeds static?
Is the parental rule setup easier than it was on the last Verizon router?
Does using router rules still significantly slow down the speeds?

At this time I do not believe there is a way to limit the bandwidth. Parental controls are much easier (in my opinion) than the Actiontec routers. I haven't heard of any complications with slow speeds regarding router rules, nor have I run into any problems myself.

You can manage your quantum gateway router away from home using the My FiOS app on android and apple devices. 🙂
