I just upgraded to Quantum and was told I need to upgrade my laptop to take advantage of the increased wireless speeds. Would using. Gigabit express card work for this?? If not, any recommendations on what need to do. I have an HP Pavillion notebook. Not sure what I need to do increase my wireless speed. Thank you!!!

The Gigabit express card is 1G Ethernet nic and it will be fine for the speed upgrade.
You will want a wireless n adapter for the wireless portion.

Is the wireless n card needed? I thought my HP notebook was already able to use wirelss g/n. Just asking. Thanks for your help!!

If it's a wireless N then you should be good, I don't own one of those netbooks, but if it came with a wireless n then you should be fine. :]
