I recently reinstalled Windows XP on an old Dell desktop which had become too riddled with spyware, viruses, etc. It has a Fios connection already hooked up (the device model is a MIA4242R) but currently it does not detect it. How do I go about doing this? Is there Fios installation software I'm missing? Thanks.

This isn't a FiOS issue.

You probably need to re-install your Network Interface Card software\drivers so that it recognizes the incoming signal.
