I have some websites that are hosted at 1and1.com. This morning, my 2 websites were the only one's I could NOT access. Everything else was fine. I checked both my sites at http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ and they're up. I called 1and1 and they revealed that certain ISP's are blocking 1and1 servers. What's going on? Can this be fixed on Verizons side? 1and1 said they're working on the issue. Now I'm stuck here, unable to get work done. NOT good.
Its working again. But why would verizon randomly block such a huge domain service such as 1and1?? Thats inconvenience city if you ask me.
Sounds more like a problem with the site. Checks like down for me are not always accurate, as they check that any response is coming back but not necessary that a page will fully display.
