Fios coaxial wall wire and Ethernet port

I have fios internet and cable, the livingroom has 1 coaxial cable on the wall but I need the wire and an Ethernet port at the same time. I need the coaxial wire for the cable box and I WANT an Ethernet port to hook up my smart TV and PS3 thru Ethernet wire.  I know they can be done wireless but I prefer to be wired into the internet.  The wireless router is in a different room across the house and I don't want to run the wire across the house.  Is this possible at all?  I didn't see anything that would help on the Verizon website.

What you need is a splitter and a MOCA adapter.

The splitter will let you pass the signal to both the STB and the MOCA adapter.

The MOCA adapter will convert the LAN signal on coax to an ethernet port.

See the following FAQ:

Can I get an ethernet connection in a room with only coax?

Since you want to connect both a smart TV and a PS3, I'd recommend buying a used Actiontec MI424-WR router on eBay.

Follow the instructions in part 2 of the above FAQ.

Using an Actiontec router as a MOCA adapter will give you four LAN ports.

This is what you are looking for... Actiontec ECB2200V. Like he said you will need a splitter so you can split the coax cable into two lines, one will go to this ethernet adapter and one will go to your set top box. OR if you want you could just get a splitter and move the Verizon router to this room, that would give you 4 ethernet ports, but I don't know if you need to keep the router in the room where it is.
