Hi. It's not a matter of just "flicking a switch", a reconnect order must be placed and processed through the system. Usually it doesn't take but a week at most. Are you saying that it was shut off because you were a week late paying your bill!?
How fast is Verizon to Turn off fios...... Bill now paid. and now even have a CREDIT!! But can't get them to turn on as fast they turned it off.. What's that about?
If you are disconnected, they may or may not require a deposit and reconnect charge. You would not think this the first time it happens, but perhaps if it is a pattern. One of the Verizon people here should be able to answer this, or you may need to call the Fiber solutions office and talk to billing. Yes it will take time.
