I just downgraded my FIOS Internet from 25 mbps to 15 mbps. Ever since I made this change, my computer keeps freezing up and I can't unfreeze without shutting off the computer. Anyone know what this might be about?
Thanks much.

Thank you for your response. The router I have is an "Actiontec." My firewall software is Norton 360 which is also the security program I use. Is this what you wanted? Thanks again for your help. I truly appreciate it.

#1 In the router go to Advanced -> UPnP
#2 If you do not have at least two game consoles behind this router, turn off UPnP in the router.
By game console, a special type of computer with no keyboard or mouse (and it/they are usually connected to a TV).
#3 For testing reasons only, disable Norton 360 to see if that is the issue or not.
