I have the same problem...well sort of. We have the G1100. We purchased the WCB3000N Actiontec network extender to improve the Wi-Fi connection on our second floor. It worked fine until we had a power outage. When it came back up suddenly it had a completely different name and we have not been able to connect to it since. The 2.4 and 5 Ghz lights continually blink. They never turned solid. For a short minute we were able to use one of the ethernet ports to connect to the internet. That's how I discovered the name had changed, but that too quit working after a few minutes.
I have reset, rebooted, unplugged, etc. To no avail.
Any hints as to what we could do to get this back up?
