Hello, I hooked up my Google Nest last week and it has worked fine. I have read some previous posts about the Google WiFi mesh system and having to stop my router so that the Google WiFi becomes the router and the Gateway router is put in bridge mode.
Do I have to do the same for the Google Nest, because I just plugged in the Ethernet cable into the back of the Gateway router and everything worked.
If this is incorrect, could someone provide me with a detailed explanation on what I will need to do?

If you would like to get the full features of the Google Nest router, it is recommended by Google that you plug the Google Nest router directly into the internet coming in. I can assist you with getting you in the right direction but I must ask, do you have Fios TV service?
