HELP !! iPhone / Internet -- URGENT !!

I accidentally clicked when I connected to iTunes with my 4S and let it upgrade my phone.  It was all screwed up, and wouldn't sync.  Had to restore.  Restored find -- but now I apparently don't know my modem's password to connect to wifi so that it can restore the rest of the phone, and I can't even get to the phone to call Verizon.  DOES VERIZON HAVE REAL PEOPLE I CAN CONTACT ONLINE?  I AM PHONELESS !!!!!!!

The login to the FIOS modem depends upon the model. The quickest way is the press and hold the reset button with the modem turned on. Release after 15 seconds and wait till router is back online. login is usually admin/password

OR admin/password imprinted on the modem. NOTE all custom settings will be lost if you do this.

 

If none of this works please post the make and model of the router (modems are used for DSL)

Are you looking just for the WiFi password? You can get that just by going to My Verizon . Under the FIOS Internet header (on the main page) it should list WiFi Settings.

Thanks for trying to help -- that's not what I needed.  I needed the Router's password -- it starts out literally as "password," but I had changed it years ago when I had FIOS installed here and I had no clue as to what it was.  I tried all of my usual suspect passwords, and nothing worked.  I did remedy the situation though -- I reset the Router thanks to directions I finally found on verizon online.  I really didn't want to do that as I was afraid of what I could screw up, but it worked.  And at long last, after playing with my phone for the entire day, it is back -- although I'm still stuck with version 7 iOS -- couldn't find a way to get back to 6 -- even restoring to a previous date on iTunes, it left the new iOS there.  I guess I should get a new phone -- maybe on the 5S it would be as weird as it is on a 4S.

Thanks very much.  That's what I ended up doing -- after spending about a half hour on the phone with 1.800.verizon -- what a waste of time THAT was.  He kept giving me the router's address and WEP.  He couldn't grasp what I was looking for -- a problem with out-of-country customer service.  I can only hope that he just didn't understand me -- and not that what I needed was outside of his limited knowledge !!
