From Chino Hills again. here's my traceroute to google.com. Same network latency problem. I've been paying monthly for a high speed connection and i'm getting Dial-up speed for more than a week now !!! What's the point of paying for FIBER if you get modem speed !!! and I'm not getting a response from Verizon. They kept on asking me to reset my router. I told them my friend who lives in the same city a few miles away has the same exact problem so I don't know how a router reset would work! Obviously it's something in the Verizon network.

Is everyone running Vista/Win 7. I have the exact same issue in NJ. Low pings sometimes/ high pings sometimes. Extremely high latency, unable to stay connected to games and RDP for work. XP Machines appears to not be having much of an issue.

I've had the same problem with each of the 3 OS's you listed. Originally I was running windows 7, reinstalled Vista to see if that would help(which it didn't), then moved my son's XP machine from wireless to wired and still the same problems. It really seems like it's a problem on Verizon's end, which Brett is pretty much confirmed and they are working on it.

I am wondering if it possible could be the protocal stack in vista/win 7.
This fix is suppose to address it buy updating to the latest Service Pack, which I have installed. I still have the issue.

I am also going to try to roll back my vista ethernet driver, but I dont know if that will work. We are new to FIOS and I have never had such an issue with any ISP before. I am greatly disappointed.
