Hello, i've been calling verizon for a year asking them to wire my building but they always say the same thing. "We're battling time warner cable" and "call the enginer". It says fios is aviliable in my neighborhood but i have to get my building wired. The landlord said it was ok but Verizon never seems to be willing to do it. It wont even take that long i live in a 5 floor building. BTW i live in NYC.
Did you order service? They can wire the building during installation (run fiber from pole and install ONT). They will determine if you are a MDU (Multi Dwelling Unit) or SFU (Single family unit). Even though you are in an apartment building, You could be installed as either.
