How can I turn off my internet connection without turning off my router?

I have a Verizon MI424WR Router.

If you disable Internet Access you will also be effecting the STB's as well.  They use the Internet for Guide Information and VOD.

If you need to disable access to a Device you may be able to use Parental Controls on the Router.

If all of your devices connect wireless then you can turn that portion off.

Perhaps if you explained what you are trying to accomplish someone would be able to assist you better.
