How can a development get Verizon to install FIOS?

I am a residential FIOS user who is moving to a neighborhood that does not have FIOS (only Comcast). Is there anything that i can do - along with my new neighbors, to have Verizon come and install FIOS in my new community? A site to post to, a number to call to plead for an installation? Do they have a map or plan available to the public about their future coverage plans?
