How do I change the Wireless Security Key for my in-home Wi-fi?

I have searched the support page and found a link with directions.  However, the screenshots that come up do not look like my screens and the link for "change my wi-fi password" does not actually exist.

Please list your router if this does not work, (I recommend WPA2)  on the MI424WR REv I - login - wireless settings - Advanced Sett...-click WPA2 - Custom pre-shared .... apply. I am sure you know you have to change this on your network devices as well.

Log into your router and you should see something like "wireless settings." That is where you will change it.

In the MI424WR you would go to:

Wireless Settings > Advanced Security Settings > Select WPA2  (You could select WEP, but that is not recommended.)

The next screen allows you to change the key.

If you do not have the MI424MR,  post your router model number and someone with that model will be able to provide specific instructions.

Thanks, guys.

I'm with you so far...just tell me how to log into the router.

I know my IP address (if I need it).
