Hi. I have the ActionTec unit in my home office. The wireless signal does not reach to the other side of the house. So, I ran an ethernet cable out of the box and all the way over to the other side of the house, and plugged in my Linksys WRT54G router but I can't get it to work. When I called Verizon tech support I was alternatively told (a) it is impossible; (b) we don't know and can't help; and (c) we know but won't help. Can anyone here help?

I got it figured out eventually, no thanks to Verizon, whose reps I spoke to last year and this year were either lying or wrong when they said it was impossible.
Big thanks to Linksys who walked me through it step by step. All I had to do was change the IP address of the second box.
And to think I had a cable strewn across my house for so long for no reason.

We changed my Linksys router from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.5.1.
