Hey!
I gave mi424wr to my parents who live in other contry and their provider uses PPPoE. I can change the settings for WAN PPPoE and the internet works perfect but every time I disconnect the power, it switches from Enable to Disable. And i have to go to settings and enable that byt myself 😞
So, question, how canWAN PPPoE be always activated?
thank you!

when you set pppoe did you set the isp's user/pass?
Verizon doesn't use a user/pass and they made that router to auto connect to their equipment.
I would figure if you put the user/pass that it would lock in.

Actiontec Support Team’s response is:
=========================
Nothing can be done about this. The default for Verizon who control the programming is to set the WAN to DHCP.
If there is a power outage, or a reset done on the router, it will default to DHCP.
