How to go about replacing now faulty FiOS router

My router appears to be rebooting every few hours and some days does not hold connectivity throughout a 24 hour period.  It takes removing and readding power to the device in order to regain connectivity.  This is the first GEN router and looking to have it replaced w/ a newer/upgraded version.  Any suggestion on how to go about this?  At the very least I'm assuming I'll need to get on the phone w/ tech support and put my time in on hold....

FiOS Store Locator | FiOS TV, FiOS Internet & Phone | Verizon

www22.verizon.com/home/storelocator/
Use Verizon FiOS store locator to find the store nearest you

You can technically just take it into a store and replace it over the counter, or you can call 800 VERIZON or you can hit the contact us link at the bottom of the page, and Verizon shouldn't have a problem mailing you a new one.  Pretty fast delivery.
