Hi All,
I ran the Verizon network diagnostic (working to improve internet performance). I was wireless connected and the report is below. The tool recommends increasing the receiver buffer.
Does anyone know if this is something I do on my side? I checked the router and network card settings and couldnt find any options for this. Any help appreciated...

try going to speedguide.net download section and download their optimizer.
That program is free and will allow you to customize or increase receive buffer sizes.
FWIW's I think the numbers you have are fine for just about any fios speed. but if you want to try it I would use the speed guide optimization tool

If you're on Windows 7 and you're using a Wireless G connection you're likely being held back by the network connection rather than the system receive window. See if that message disappears during or after two runs while on a Wired connection to the router. Windows 7 scales the receive window based on the link capacity and latency.
If you pay for 25/25 FiOS, then boosting the receive window will help with higher latency situations. Just keep in mind Windows should automatically scale the window as a download progresses.
