I've been using FIOS for 23.5 months, from 08/2012. Below is a plot of the speed test results. I test at least twice per month for *almost* every month. I experienced several extremely low speed days/weeks when download speed reached 1~2Mbps zone. I called in at least 5 times during the two year period but nobody would bother to do something to help other than ask me to download that "optimizer", which was totoally useless.
Now my contract is (almost) over and the early termination fee comes... I agreed to pay EVERY dollar for the rest 14 days of my contract, but Verizon still charges me $10 for ETF. I am speechless. I think I should be the one who asks for compensation for the poor service. I feel like I have been too kind to someone who did not deserve it.
I just want to share my experience with everyone here.
