Incredible Lag

Incredible lag here. I have gigabit and they just replaced the fiber line outside to my house. Originally the fiber tech ran a 150ft fiber cable which was not correct, since the line was super taught and going over my neighbors property which is not cool. They ran a new 250ft yesterday but still getting lag spikes. It's 100% something with Verizon since I have optimum as well and when I swap the issue is resolved. Still seeing timeouts on my continuous ping to and continuous speed test i'm running. Tech is scheduled to come again tomorrow but this is getting ridiculous. How many Verizon techs to solve this issue?
