Lost power for a few minutes and since then can't get internet back. Have done the troubleshooter but doesn't help. No outages reported in the area and can't get in touch with Verizon support even after 3 hour hold. Is there anything more I can do than rebooting router that might help?

You could try power cycling the ONT. Find where the battery backup is connected, unplug it from power. If you have a battery installed, disconnect the battery. Reboot the ONT by re-connecting the battery and power in order.
