I'm trying to watch Premier League soccer on NBC Live Extra. The problem is that when I login with my Verizon Fios account info on the NBC site, it acts like it's about to load the live stream, then returns directly back to the original login screen. The live stream will not load, however, I am able to watch archived video on the site.
I've done all the usual nonsense-my Flash Player and browser are up to date; I've cleared the cache and enable 3rd party cookies, I've done everything the FAQ on the NBC site says to do and more. But the live stream won't load.
The only thing I haven't done is hook up this cable box that Verizon sent. I want to watch on the internet, not a television. I don't want cable TV, I just had to sign up for it to enable me to watch on NBC Live. Would not hooking the cable box affect my ability to live stream something? Anyone have any ideas?
