Just recieved my new FIOS Quantum Gateway G1100 Router, Do I need to send the old Router back?

Wondering if I need to send the old Router back to Verizon like I needed to do with my old DVR?

I would hold on to it and if they request it back then return it. 

However if possible return it to a physical Verizon Fios store location no reseller.

verizon likes to say they don’t receive items back even when you have proof of the return and receipt. So get a signed receipt.
