Limited number of clients for Actiontec router?

Just got refurbished Samsung laptop, that apparently has a problem with its wireless adapter (the notorious Intel 6235). Since the laptop is still under warranty, I contacted Samsung tech support to submit a service request. I mentioned that there are almost a dozen wireless devices in my house that work without problem and then they claimed, it might be a  router problem, with the router limiting the number of wireless devices.

While it's probably bogus, I want to do due diligence. So how many wireless devices can the Actiontec FIOS router actually handle?

Number of wireless devices is limited only by the default DHCP range (.2 to .254).
