Live TV Streaming Using a different router still work?

I am contiplating getting Fios and wasn't too happy to find out that I had to use their router with a TV service. What I was going to do was simply have Fios router send the internet over to my router via an Ethernet cable which I have found all over the internet and have that router at 192.168.2.1 and have fios router at 192.168.1.1.

My question is, for live tv streams to my Samsung TV, iPad's and PC will those devices be able to stream the "In network live streams" only channels or will I be forced to use 100% of Fios router. I love my router and the features that it comes with as it was over $300!

I'd be using this set up http://www.dslreports.com/faq/verizonfios/3.0_Networking  Option 1 Lan to Wan

With option 1 the streaming options should still work.

It wouldn't hurt to give the FiOS router a try. They have improved a lot recently. The wireless on the older units such as the Rev. I can be underwhelming, however the new Clearwave router offered does improve on that with Wireless AC.
