For the past week or so, I've lost internet connection. I have a wireless connection. This has occurred three times, the last time today about an hour ago. I do a troubleshoot to resolve the problem and reconnect. I've checked the router connection and nothing seems to be wrong. I contacted Verizon and there is no Network problem.
Should I reset the router?

Can't do any harm to reset the router. More likely is that you have a device, maybe a new one, that is interfering with the wifi signal. You could try changing the channel that the router is using.

We just upgraded the home security to a wireless system. Could that be the problem?

I can connect wirelessly to the Interent. All the lights on the router all are green.
The security module that is used to transmit information, I had placed it right next to the router; I suspect that was the issue. I've moved it away from the router. I haven't experienced any problems since then.

Well, I've lost connection twice since my last post.
I changed the router channel to see if that will solve the problem.
