Low Capacity Notification

The Actiontec MI42WR router has security log options for a "Low Capacity Notification" to be sent via email. But this doesn't seem well described in the manual. I'm assuming this means an email gets sent when the router's security log gets filled up. My question: What happens at that point? Are old entries deleted as new ones come in?
