Hello - Recently switched to Fios and the claim on new router is it should go as far as 250-350 ft.. I have a plan of 100/100
I am sitting in my room upstairs hardly about 40-50 ft away from the router. I only get a max of 30 Mpbs.. Suprisingly upload speeds are upto 90 mpbs and download speeds are very low. Streaming video freezes sometimes.
Need help...
What is the router you're using currently? Are you using the 5Ghz network (often labeled 5G) if you have a Quantum router, or just the standard "2.4Ghz" network?
