From where can I download the firmware version 40.19.22 for my M1424WR-Gen3 Rev I Router.
The Verizon network automatic upgrade process overwrote version 40.19.22, which came installed on the new Gen3 router, with an older version of the software and my network malfunctioned for 4 months due to the Verizon generated firmware rollback problem. I had to use a backup router in order to get reliable service but I want to be able to switch back to the Actiontec.
At this time I must have reliable service due to a task being conducted using my network so I will need to obtain the replacement firmware by download to my PC and manual upgrade of my Actiontec.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know why the firmware was pulled? I've looked online for 40.19.22 and can't find it anywhere.
I wonder why the pulled it?

I have the same router and the aforementioned firmware. I am sure that it should be upgraded automatically and have not seen a link to download it ; I checked for an update when I got it and found out it "should' happen automatically. It was not pulled AFA I know.

Point your browser to the following website and the .rmt file will download to your computer and then choose the upgrade option to upgrade via a computer on your network once you long into your router....I hope this helps you out...

That file will work without a brick, correct? In the past I believe it was mentioned that non-OEM'd firmware wouldn't work correctly on an OEM specced device. Perhaps things have changed and the image is a bit more universal. But, great find there!
Saves people time of having to enable Telnet on the router to begin the process of dumping the flash to disk.
