@APD, glad the issue has been solved. Sort of makes sense, any security related changes should always require physical access to the router.

Well, "solved" might be too strong a word, but at least there's a practical (for me) workaround. To me, "solved" would include Verizon clearly documenting the restriction so that it doesn't look like a bug, including providing a clear error message if the administrator attempts a prohibited action.
