Am I the only one who can't seem to get the DMZ on this router to work the way it should. I have placed a PC's IP address in the DMZ, but I can't reach it from the outside. I am trying to reach a specific port number that I have assigned to an SSH server on this PC. The PC has no firewall software running on it. The only way I can hit that port is if I go in and forward the port from the router to the PC....which kind of defeats the purpose of DMZ in the first place. Anyone know why the DMZ won't work?
Does regular port forwarding work or no? The last I checked, the most recent firmware upgrade Verizon pushed to the routers broke the DMZ as well as some other functions of the router for whatever reason.
Port forwarding seems to be working.
