Okay, this has been bugging me ever since I finally got FIOS into our rental condo.
It seems that everday, during the time of 12:30-2ish pm, my internet connection becomes highly intermittent, as in I'll have fine connectivity for about a minute, lose it for a minute or two, and have it mysteriously connect back to the internet afterwards, just to do it again in another minute or two.
I'm not plagued by this problem in any other time, for it works fine in the morning and in the late-afteroon and evening hours. My FIOS tv does not show any symptoms of signal degredation (like pixelation and whatnot) during this time. What ever the issue is, it seems to be relagated to my internet connectivity.
Thinking that my verizon wireless router is wonky, or my machine itself, I tried using a wired connection from the router to my main Vista machine, wired and wireless connection to both a XP and Ubuntu laptop, and for giggles, I even tried both wireless and wired connectivity with my Fiancee's iMac. but once that fateful time rolls around, and the VDSL light on the ZyXEL Prestige Router goes out, bye bye reliable internet for the next hour or two for all machines.
I live in a rental, but all the ONT and Fiber boxes are located on the side of my building in a neat little row, so I do have some access to them. I've did my research around here and I found out that the customers could so some simple stuff to see if there are any connectivity problems between the ONT boxes and whatnot, but I didn't see anything that could help me out with my FIOS internet. Could it even by the modem that does this, and not the ONT boxes outside?
Any thoughts and solutions are appreciated.

I figured out as much and should have done something about this earlier, and not waited a month or two. I'll give them a call and see if they could resolve the issue.
Thank very much 🙂

What is this MDU symptom? I thought FIOS is dedicated bandwidth.
Would this MDU symptom apply to rural area single households where a neighbor is using high bandwidth?

MDU = multi dwelling unit These are usually used in apartments or condo buildings were the owner or association pre-determines that they do not want every resident having their own equipment installed (maybe looks messy on the building, who knows). If yours is a rental, but still a single family unit, most likely this will not apply.
If you are experiencing this issue on a wireless router, there are a couple of things to consider.
Something is obviously interfering with your reception, so what could cause it? Are you using cordless phones on the 2.4 GHz frequency during that time, more so than normal? Are you living close enough to neighbors so that their use of 2.4 GHz phones is interfering? Is your air conditioner running more during that time (or any other electrical device)? Are you experiencing sun spots (seriously) ? try one of the boosters and see what happens.
