Maryland video sites.. Again.

Four months last year of complaining, testing and finally getting Verizon and Google to talk about this they fixed the issue.

Now it's back.. And what do you know, a month after renewing (and this isn't a Verizon problem I'm being told, so I couldn't cancel my contract without the fee).

Symptoms: YouTube and Vimeo sites useless. Even at the lowest quality videos buffer for the longest time, play for five seconds and buffer again. Surprisingly enough, this is tame, But it's always hop 8, 9 and 10 that's the worst.

My friends north of me that route through Washington DC (I route through Philadelphia, see hop 4) are fine. Yes, I route north while friends north of me route south. And Verizon says it cannot be changed.

Anyone else in the same boat? Also, Tracert to Facebook.com is 19 hops.. Nineteen! Is this the middle ages? 🙂
