Maxing out wireless router effectivnes

I have a MI424R router. Does anyone knows how many wireless connections this router can accept at one time before its effiency is maxed out or can I add some time of booster to prevent intermittent loss of signal. I play with my PS3 wireless. Now all of a sudden I cannot get any good signal strength.

I do not know if/what the max amount of wireless devices would be.... but I do know that adding more, would NOT affect the signal strength.... it may cause speed issues, but should not affect the signal strength....

the strength of the signal would be dependent on a few issues... such as, distance, the amount of walls/floor physical barriers, what those barriers are made out of, and of course interference... interference can range from other routers, coordless phones, microwaves, ham radios, baby monitors, and a whole lotta other things

try adjusting the antennae, or changing the wireless channel in the router... if all else fails, reset the router with a paperclip or pen in the reset hole on the back of the router for 15 seconds, reboo the devices and try again...  You can also try the verizon connection wizard, which is supposed to tweak your wireless settings and such....

best of luck

What about a stronger antenna?

The factory antenna on the router is 3db gain , a quick search on Google shows buncha sites offering 7db gain antennas 8$ - 30$
