Hi, I was wondering if I can move the router to a room on the second floor that has a cable box installed into that room and an ONT box.
Would it be possible to move the router using the second floor ONT or would I have to get something else installed?

You could move the router to any room you like that has a coax connector that is on the same coax network that is coming out of your ont.
Not sure I understand what you mean by a cable box - possibly you means the set top box that is connected to one of your TVs? If so it is presumably connected to the ont via a 2 way cable splitter so you would need to get a 3 way cable splitter to replace the 2 way so you could add the router.
