My wife and I rent out one of the rooms in our house to a tenant. I allow him to use our wireless FIOS. Recently, he mentioned to me that he regularly uses Bittorrent. I read somewhere that this program can suck up a lot of bandwidth. I think it might be causing me some issues with connectivity when I game on my ps3. Is there any way to delegate a certain amount of bandwith to him? I've got the newer actiontec mi424 router. Please advise. Thanks.

I do not have this router but you should be able to log onto the router and configure the QOS settings (Quality of Service) for the tenant's IP address.
You would configure the DHCP settings to assign his MAC address the same IP address each time he connects. Then through the QOS settings, limit his incoming and outgoing bandwidth. Sorry I cannot tell you exactly how to do this but you should be able to search and find a manual for the router settings.
