Placed an order on Feb 24 for new service in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Was given Mar 26 as the earliest date available. Talked to Rita and was confirmed that no dates are available. My neighbour placed order after me, their was a technician in house today Mar 7th. I was talking to the tech and he was surprised why customer service is giving one month turn around time. As per him, they usually got out with in a week of placing order.
Called up customer service today after talking with tech. Customer service initially tried to drive me away saying they cant give me earlier dates and their is a snow storm in NE and blah blah. When I repeatedly insisted she checked and found out lot of days in next week are available.
I dont understand where the gap is. 30 day turn around time for setting up new service? what kind of service is that. I called up Comcast and they are willing to give me an appointment in 2 days time.
I want some manager to review my case and confirm that these first level of customer reps are not making up the dates and stories. Anywhere I can send an email where I can reach a senior manager?

I'm sorry for your frustration! I don't know where the gap is, but we are going to escalate your post to our Private Support Board. There you'll be able to talk directly to an agent who can help you figure out what's going on.

There you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.
