New Fios router vs Amazon echo devices

Earlier today I replaced a failed Fios router by a new one. Both are the modern 1100 model, without the external antennas. I set it up the same as the previous one, same SSIDs and passwords.   Two Android phones hooked up fine without any typing and gave the expected results for a speed check. Five Amazon Echo devices claim they can not connect to the net, even after power off and on.  They are not even visible to the router on the my network screen.  Unfortunately, I have had several other failed Fios routers and all my devices came back without any extra effort when I set the  new router to the same SSIDs and passwords as the old router.  What causes the different behavior, and how can I gat the old behavior back?  Thanks.

So when you go in to echo device, you don't even see the new network?

Not sure of all Echos. If they are older, maybe they only support 2.4Ghz while androids support 5Ghz.

Log in to router and verify that both networks are configured and running.
