New Quantum Router - and seeing wifi drops

So a little about the setup. Using a new Quantum router and have 75/75. No issues with setup and devices all see the wireless network.


Every something often, and seeing mostly on my 3rd generation iPad mini the wireless network disappears and get the message "device not connected to the network". Sometimes it comes back quickly, other times I need to do one of the following


renew lease on network

reset network settings on ipad

hard and soft reset of device


the router is only about 20feet from the device, and it's a one story house.


ive ran various speed tests and get anything from 35/35 to 60/60. My house uses wireless setup with Sonos streaming Pandora and no issues with that. 


Any ideas? My settings are all default/automatic

Try changning the wifi channel to configured.

Typical values are 1, 6, 11.
